sMonitor v3.08 info: The program can be used to monitor Internet hosts and services running on them continuously. It allows to create a list of Internet servers and a task lists for each of them: pings and services to check: HTTP, FTP, Telnet, SMTP, POP3, NNTP and any others. The complete list of services and TCP ports according to RFC 1700 is included. The main program window shows a current status of ports and/or round-trip time of pings. sMonitor is a system tray program and can be launched at startup.
The program can generate log file which contains an information about test results, log files as delimited text tables sorted by servers or/and by services, html file which mirrors an information shown by the program on the screen. If services (pings) fail sMonitor notifies by changing the color of system tray icon, beep or sound from *.wav, *.mid, *rmi files, e-mail with information about failed services (pings). sMonitor can launch external applications and access remote systems (power management, reboot, alarm reporting) by modem and telnet using custom scripts.
